Penne with tuna and pomodorini

This is a super-simple adaptation of a favorite pasta of our family!

short pasta (ideally bow-tie, but we had penne on hand)

cherry/grape tomatoes

can(s) of tuna (a can per couple of people)

olive oil

garlic (one large clove per couple of people)

What to do:

boil water, add pasta, add pinch of salt, let drain once ready (chewy but firm, ideally)

heat large pot, fill bottom with olive oil, add garlic

add halved tomatoes once garlic is brown but NOT burnt!

add tuna, mix it all up

add pasta, add pepper to taste

serve! with some parmesan cheese and a bright piece of basil
