Grilled corn, and hold the grill

Karina had brought corn on the cob to our 4th of July potluck bash in the city. There were leftovers, i.e., major potential.

Cooking up yesterday’s cold corn was inspired from a coworker – LOUISE! (hello) – last week. She mentioned that all one had to do was heat butter, drop the corn in and sprinkle in salt, pepper and anything else.

Let’s try it, I thought patriotically. (Because corn is totally Fourth of July food – right? Even if it’s the day after.)

I myself used olive oil, salt, pepper, and red chili pepper flakes – and kept medium heat going until I heard the corn crackling and saw it browning. It was like a July 4th party all over again! (Well, not really. It was just me in the house, before Aimee came home. Hahaha.)
